The Songwriter Sessions Jaime Jackett

On 13 October Jaime Jackett will perform at Broome’s newest venue, the Shed at 7 Orr Street, Broome.
 
Doors open at 7 and the show begins at 7.30…..don’t be late, the door will be shut and not opened until intermission!!
 
This promises to be a very special, intimate gig held according to the SoFar principles https://www.sofarsounds.com/ ,where organizers ‘put on intimate concerts in unexpected venues’. There will be a licenced bar available.
 
Most notable about these gigs is they are small (we have only 40 tickets available, get in fast!), there is NO TALKING whilst the artist performs, and where live and original music is heard in public, often for the first time. This will be the first of a number of such gigs, be at the first one and you won’t want to miss another!
 
Australian-Canadian song weaver and multi-instrumentalist Jaime Jackett is a pop artist based here in Broome. Anchored by hooks, her music is influenced by a wide range of genres drawing in pure pop, folk and soul.  With a dynamic, vibrant presence, her performances are most noted for her powerful voice which morphs from glass clear and sweet, to blues-drenched wails. Her cleverly penned lyrics tell tales of love, tribulations, and connection to the planet and community.
