A Taste of Broome (ATOB) will return in 2021 as a weekend festival of arts and cultural events, celebrating the unique Indigenous multiculturalism within the community of Broome. This years’ festival has been reimagined into two days of local art, craft, dance, food, film and culture, from the 25th of June - 26th of June. Weekend Passes are available which allows access to all events and free activities, or you can purchase single tickets to any of the events over the weekend. Schedule of Events: Friday 25th June Music & Picture Show: Musical performances from local artists, Nurlu contemporary and traditional dance and local multi-cultural cuisine. Saturday 26th June Mabu Buru Tours: Local Yawuru, Karrajarri, Nyul Nyul and Bardi man, Johani will take two tours on country to experience and learn about the Yawuru Country, Culture, Traditional lifestyle, and connection to country. Circus: Theatre Kimberley’s Act Belong Commit Sandfly Circus will present an exciting and invigorating family show of hilarity and death defying feats. Cooking Classes: Pat Torres from Mayi Harvest presents a cooking demonstration and tasting using locally harvested bush foods such as boab, gubiny and native lemon grass. KIPAS music night: A night of celebration, showcasing the unique musical talent nurtured by the Kimberley.
